How to Achieve Slavery

To achieve slavery requires an understanding of our willingness to achieve it. Is it possible for the people to willingly create their own slavery? Yes, it is. Here’s how.

There are two sides to the coin of slavery. One is the abduction of people into slavery. This is the popular understanding of achieving it. The other side of the coin is the slow and deliberate movement of the people from freedom into slavery without their realizing it. This is the more fiendish of the two.

Knowledge destroys achieving slavery. Ignorance makes it happen. Why people choose to know or not know falls into two categories: the comfort of ignorance and the sadness of knowledge. The former feeds nearsighted pleasure. The latter feeds farsighted survival. The key to which the people choose is comfort versus sadness, not ignorance versus knowledge.

Ignorance is comfortable when a society has developed to a point that working to survive isn’t needed. When a society becomes responsible for the care and feeding of the ignorant it creates a point at which ignorance lacks pain and becomes a thing to pursue and grow.

Knowledge on the other hand is a sad state. It’s an understanding of the causes of pain and the realization that survival is work. Survival isn’t a right. It’s not an entitlement. It’s not something that’s owed. It’s sweat. It’s toil. It’s death.

Who in their right mind would pursue the sadness of knowledge when the comfort of ignorance is so easy to achieve? There’s one group that would, those who will work to achieve slave ownership. In their case, this is their joy of knowledge, not sadness of it. It’s the knowledge of how to manipulate the people to choose to become slaves in the pursuit of the illusion of the comfort of ignorance.

This is akin to slowly boiling the frog. The key is to slowly manipulate the emotions of the people, so they choose the path to slavery without ever realizing it. It’s the never-ending framing of the message of comfort.

It can be framed as being safe, being given something that’s free or the end of working. It only matters that the framing of the message is never-ending and believed. Here the key is believed, not trusted. This has nothing to do with building trust. It has to do with belief disguised as trust. It must slowly and ceaselessly maneuver the people toward slavery under the guise of the belief of comfort.

The people will surrender their power and freedom for the belief in a promise, never for the knowledge of a fact. With the proper messaging the masters can acquire all of the power and freedom of the people. But the masters must never allow the people to know this.

The longer the people pursue the comfort of ignorance the less the masters will have to command. They can achieve their ends by the suggestions of messaging, not the marching of troops. The ignorant who follow are priceless. It’s the knowledgeable who are the enemy.

Preach, don’t teach. Condition, don’t educate. Message to the emotions, never speak to the intellect. Above all, keep the herd fed and watered. A well fed ignorance will always suppress a hungry knowledge.

Know this so we don't do this.
